Godre'r Graig Park

Welcome to our new home:

Welcome to the Godre'r Graig Park website. We try our best to keep things up to date but don't always have the time. We recommend that if you want to know the latest news that you click the Facebook logo below.

So much great stuff has happened this year, bringing the park back into full use once more. The park is finally something to be proud of once more, with a new entrance and community scultputre, relaid paths, walkways and steps, removal of invasive plants such as Rhododendron, willow workshops, installation of benches, interpretation boards and more.

Bringing the park back into use has been done through the efforts of community volunteers with Godre'r Graig Community Association. We would like to recognise the tireless efforts of those involved and the help and support of GCA by other agencies. If you'd like to get involved as a volunteer please send us a message through the contact us page.

This project aims to create a Park:
"By the Community,
For the Community!"

Godre'r Graig Park is located on Graig Road in Godre'r Graig. There are 2 entrances, the main one is on Graig Road but a second one can be accessed through the playground on Gnoll Road and across some rough ground.

Feel free to have a look around the site and see what's going on, in front AND behind the scenes. If you see something you think you could help us with, then please tell us. The park and Godre'r Graig Community Association (GCA) is all about normal everyday people coming together, to share what they know or what they can do.

We've also set up a facebook group. We've set this up as an easy way to let people know when new events are coming up or to notify when the website's updated and the like. If you'd like to follow us on facebook just click the facebook icon below.

Many thanks
GCA Committee
